ZBCA REVIEWS MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR THE YEAR 2022 WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

In line with the ongoing re-branding of ZBCA, whose focus is to position the Association to be
a Business Management Organization of choice in the region, we have looked at the existing
annual subscriptions that were last reviewed in 2018. Accordingly, we have reviewed
upwards subscriptions for categories “A” to “D”. We have also expanded the sub-headings
pertaining to categories to ensure that we capture the various specialities in the construction
industry. This innovation has removed grey areas in terms of categorization and has also
expanded the membership recruitment base thus creating an opportunity for the Association
to realise more revenue as each speciality can now be categorized from “A” to “H”. The
schedule of revised subscriptions for 2021 is included in this bulletin for the benefit of
members and is effective immediately. While the annual subscriptions have been pushed
upwards for categories A to D, categories E to H have been left at the 2018 levels. Please
note that categories E to H are the nurturing categories that give reason to the formation of
ZBCA, hence the move to hold constant the subscriptions for these groups. While every care
is taken to ensure that subscriptions remain affordable, you will agree with me that this move
was long over due especially given the success of the ZBCA lobbying and advocacy programs
over the years. We must stop being an Association of contractors and transform ourselves
to become an association of business people as part of the re-brandinbg. (quotable quote
from the 2021 ZBCA Annual congress)
